A wonderful 2011 year full of delights in the groove we leave behind, On the occasion of the 5zig Compilation the cooking has gone positively viral. The accompanying tour stretched a lot of muscle fibers. Now we aim a sweeping blow in the form of a digital collection as a gift, with new music for the future. we´re starting the new year with a kind of retrospective through the past 12 months, playing exerpts with the best of past liquid sound club – shows… 2011 we had some special guests performing for us, we was archieving every show and at the 1st liquid sound of the year 2012 we will present it in one mix performed by the resident [micro:form].

this is a very special invitation – to the last liquid sound club of the year 2011. we´re closing this year with a jam session with [micro:form] and the artist, who was also performing at the previous liquid sound festival in bad schandau: AUDIOPHIL.

both artists will be performing a live session based on their own live sets, interfering and interacting together;

[micro:form]´s setup, which is mostly based on the sounds and soundstructures sampled live on stage, with a help of several electronic devices and computer-aided sound processing.

audiophil turn noises into sounds and sounds into noises. natural sounds are transformed electronically and become new sound landscapes. however, just like with humans the substrate is the original sound.

of course you can participate the session virtually, by watching the livestream on sat. 3rd of dec. at 9 pm CET!

the festival will (again) take place at the thermae bath in bad schandau from sat. (5th) to sun. (6th) of november.
