We are pleased to announce that the newest experimental film scrape by
Artist Robert Seidel with sound by Rafal Stachowiak aka [micro:form]. It was conceived for one of the biggest media façades world-wide: Seoul Square Media Square. scrape can be seen in its full scale of 99 x 79 meters in until 27th September.

The work is part of the German Media Art exhibition by Goethe Institute Seoul and
Gana Art Center with works by Heike Baranowsky, Corinna Schnitt and Nam June Paik.

Culture is a man-made product. The spirit of evolution led humans into regions previously uninhibited. At this year´s tenth Liquid Sound festival Audiophil and Pollyx are not only going to present their new album but also music interpretations of desert and space to contrast with the homeland. It is these places which give creativity space to grow.
Even when man is close to his roots he seems to mirror nature. Taking a closer look there is no difference between the two – it is as if nature cultivates itself. Nature becomes aware and takes control of itself. At the edge of life one recognises the origin of the oberver.
Audiophil and singer Pollyx turn noises into sounds and sounds into noises. Natural sounds are transformed electronically and become new sound landscapes. However, just like with humans the substrate is the original sound. If you know the reasons for these sound landscapes, you will also know the orgins of the nature of man.

- this time my computer drove me crazy (total distorted recording :( – therefore i decided to take some audio samples of the ambience inside of the thermal bath during my set with my field recorder and put it together with some pics i´ve made in the past shows.. enjoy it.. please note: you can hear the “real liquid” soundscape in background…
